This software is designed to aid a web-host control all aspects of its inventory, whether it’s IP’s, Servers, or Customer Upgrades. We are looking for more uses for this software – so please submit them for the next version. This version is currently under development and will be finished up shortly.


In Brief: v.1.0.1 Features [3 modules]

Target: All web hosts, specifically medium-larger businesses dealing with multiple servers and large amounts of IP addresses.


Explained:
- IP address tracking
This will track the IP addresses assigned to you by ARIN or your provider. You can track them by server and by customer (if you give out IPs). This way you can keep control of used/unused IP’s and not waste any.

- Hardware Tracking
This will keep track of all of your hardware, not just servers. Routers, switches, hubs, firewalls, network cables, etc all will be categorized and kept in full detailed lists. Web-servers, database servers and dns servers all will be kept track of as well, no matter if you run 1 server or run 50 or 100 (for dedicated and co-located customers).

- Customer Upgrade Tracking
Don’t you hate it when you get 3-4 requests for ram upgrades but you forget to do them? This will keep track of all upgrade requests and will make sure you do not forget about them. It also will show which are most frequent, what prices, etc.

The software can work in 2 ways (pre-order rates until 12/15/02).
- You can purchase a shared solution, which exists on our servers and you can have full access to it for $29.99 per month. This includes UNLIMITED usage of this software.
- You can purchase a licensed copy of our software which will run on your server which needs to be equipped with PHP+MYSQL. You obviously get unlimited usage of this on your server, all for $150 one time fee.

We will support our software 100%. If you want custom add-on such as control panel tie-ins, customer control panels for the upgrade tracking module or any other advancement to this software, we can code it.

The site is very uninformative, at least some screenshots / demo of some sort would give us an idea of the quality and features.

Good job. Need screen shots before anyone will likely to comit to buying. I'm interested...but holding off, at this point.


BTW - For inventory tracking, make sure you include date purchased, amount paid, etc.
