I have a video file and want to embed it in forum posts ( not WHT ), so how can I do that ?

What forum software are you using?

Is the video an online source, eg Youtube video?

Try to go to the advance posting method and paste the embed code and preview the post.. if it shows the video then you are ready to post..If not..then it's better to place the link.
Atleast let people watch the video you want;)

If you mention which forum script you are using this help to suggest some solution.
if you using vbulletin there was a mod for vbulletin, but that does't support latest versions, you need to wait until new release come for mod.
