Friends @ WHT,

Some of my clients are shouting for Sent Folder's availability in Horde on my Windows server. We have MailEnable Standard on our server and it does not include IMAP support which is
required to utilize the additional functions such as a sent folder.

LW adviced us to go with hMail Server or to upgrade to MailEnable Professional!

Whats your advice? Anyone used hMail Server?

Regards

Do you have a couple hundred dollars to invest? If I can make a recommendation it would be SmarterMail.

SmarterMail blows hMail and MailEnable out of the water. Your clients will love you. The comparision on the web interfaces is like a Mercedes to an old Kia with 200,000 miles.

Anyways, I've used hMail in small deployments (less than 10 users) and it has seemed fine... but in the enterprise I cannot make an opinion.

I would suggest upgrading your mailenable as plesk is known to work best with mailenable .

:agree:

Nothing against it. We have worked with mdeamon, hmail and smartermail over past few years with plesk other than mailenable.

smartermail and mailenable seems to the ones which tick better with plesk .

So its a matter of choice :agree:

I think I will go for MailEnable Pro then. That sounds like the only good choice as of now so we dont have to change the Mail Server...

Thanks everyone for the input.
