I think (not sure) in vBulletin the user who is banned will show a dash (-) before the person's nickname in their profile, check it - im not entirely sure on this though :)

My guess is that he was banned because he was an employee of/agent for Advantahost, which was banned. If a host gets banned, don't its employees go with it?

Same thing happened with webreseller.net in Hostingchat.net
