Thanks!

our Xen VPS lines is using SolusVM and so far it is very stable, rock solid... clients like it! development is fast too... new features are being added quite often as developers are listening to the client requirements, suggestions etc. most importantly support is great they are very responsive and always there to help.

The only major feature it lacks is ability to backup VPS from within control panel but i think it is currently under development, current backup feature only available for OpenVZ containers.

We're also looking into using SolusVM for XEN once it has become more developed. It's a great panel for our OpenVZ VPSes so far. Looks promising :)

By the way Windows support is currently in the pipeline.

We got our first vps node as solusvm entered into xen (in beta). We haven't tried it yet, but we plan on using Xen for our next node for sure. And every node subsequent to that.

I played around with Xen on a local test dev server and it worked pretty great, definitely give it a try

Testing out Solus with Xen here. How did you partition the slave node? No matter how it is partitioned it doesn't seem to like it.

like this:

/ 40GB +
vps rest of drive (this must be a empty logical volume group (LVM))
Swap - double RAM size

Yeah, did that but it said the disk was full.

sorry this is a bit of OT:

where are you getting that? in the master when you are trying to add the node? please visit soluslabs forum and create thread there about your issue before we get infraction for thread hi-jacking :stickout:

All I asked was how you partitioned it. Solus hasn't been really helpful. That's ok, I'll figure it out.

Why have you tried contacting them by logging support ticket? they actually reply faster there than in the forum, I haven't encountered that kind of error message you had... it might be helpful if you can run:

vgdisplay and paste it and also lvdisplay will show what's in it.

Just you can set the partition / as Ext3 format and the remainder LVM after setting up the swap partition, what RAID level are you using?

I've got Xen working well with SolusVM, just make sure you get some decent templates.
