We have a DNS cluster and our shared servers point to this. How do we ensure that new domains registered are placed onto the DNS cluster and also removed when the account is deleted from the shared servers?

WHM side: Main >> DNS Functions >> Synchronize DNS Records

If configured correctly cPanel will handle all of this automatically, there is no need to run a manual sync.

You specify the DNS servers used on account creation in "Cpanel/WHM Basic Setup".

When you remove account, the DNS zone is removed along with it, which includes moving the configuration off your main machine and the DNS servers.

The automatic synchronization occurs according to the DNS configuration done in the WHM. If it is set as standalone, the synchronization with master will not occur. If the cluster is configured such as they synchronize with the master. Each Addition/Deletion/Update will be properly synchronized in the DNS zones.
