I have never seen eNom charge for a failed transfer. I have numerous clients who have xfered domains from various registrars and they failed on the first attempt.

Frank,

I had never seen it for .com, net,org domains. I had many instances that transfer failed but they did not charged me.

This is first time I am being charged.

I have forwarded the email to enom's billing and sales but I doubt if I receive any reply.

I have sent a very urgent technical request to them 3 days ago but they have not bothered themselves to reply. It seems to me that no one is live there and when you are charged you must forget it. :(

Then what's your suggestion.

Frank, by the way, it's my proud to see you on my topics. For everything. (PHPBB, ServerExpert, ...)

Best Regards,
Mac

Am I missing something? The email states that the transfer was successful for a .info domain (I'm assuming Wmac X'd the full name out).

Where does it state that the transfer was unsuccessful?

that means the expiration date is not available. Enom's email formatting is a little off.

Yep! Same thing happened to me, but I got this email from them after I contacted them about it.

You are not charged for a transfer until it is complete. If you feel you have been charged for a service that was not rewcieved, please send an e-mail to: reseller@enom.com asking for an investigation into the charge, and a refund.

A few points to mention here:

1. You should not be contacting eNom about this. You should be contacting your parent reseller for help.

2. The transfer was successful. Sometimes eNom is unable to get the new expiration date into their email notification. I transfer a dozen domains per day and about 1/2 of the notifications are exactly like the one you posted. If you check your account you see the domain is now listed. The transfer was successful.

3. If you contact eNom it is unlikely you'll get a timely answer, because:

1. You are supposed to go to your parent reseller first.
2. The transfer was successful, so there's no need for them to reply.

Cheers!:)

1- I am myself an enom reseller.

2- Previous registrar has not aproved domain transfer and has told that .info domins cannot be transfered from their system yet and they are working on it to provide it in future.

3- Domain has not appeared in my reseller account.

Thank you :)

The way i read that mail is

1. it was succesful.
2. enom couldnt get the expiry date.
3. they billed you because it was succesful.

However it appears you have a problem if the domain has not appeared in your reseller account :)
