Just been reminded of your ' turkey day '

it's always a Thursday isn't it ?

we try to have ours on Mondays, then we're pretty well OK to go away for the weekend .. 3 day weekend

just one more example of strategic Australian planning

I was just wondering the same thing myself Matt...

I like Friday best as a holiday... I'm always grumpy on Monday regardless of what I have to do.

Also, most places give you "the day after Thanksgiving" off, which Thanksgiving always being on a Thursday, means we always get a 4 day weekend :stickout:

I also get a week and a half off for Christmas/New years.

What do you guys get for Christmas? I'm assuming most of you are in predominately Christian countries.

I would think the BEST days for a holiday would have 2 be the wekeends when everyone is home and able to join in.....

Oh well.......
