VERY large site.

same here about the site on my slow computer(wouldn't even open). even my faster computer had a hard time with it, and its on a cable line and has almost a Gig of RAM.

The site is not that large, it's the server that is very slow.

I think first of all, you should change your hosting company, and then lower down your file sizes.
