For those who have had experience at the beginner level should be able to answer this. If I purchase the Aluminum package which offers 50GB disk space and 500GB bandwidth how many accounts on average can I fit on this? I am planning on offering smaller packages but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this much space and how many accounts did they have.

It's totally depend on the package you will create. If you give details about your proposed plans, we can show you an idea based on that. HG did not offer overselling feature so it totally depends on package you create.

I've also been looking at this. Since HG doesnt cap your maximum number of accounts, you are free to split it up into as many accounts as you like (within the starage and bandwidth limits obviously). I would think about the requirements of your customers - how much space and bandwidth will they need?

This question has been asked so many times. And the answer is always the same. Depends on your packages. You can sell 50 packages with 1gb space and 10gb bandwidth, or 25 packages with 2gb space and 20gb bandwidth. Since they don't allow overselling, you're bound by what you can offer than what you actually use.

Does HG have a overselling rule where you can sell 25% or 10% more of your quota.
Anyway, it should be fine to sell small accounts, but take into account to save some space for your corperate website and billing system.

Everyone I have heard says no. They probably oversell the reseller accounts, but thats on their end, not yours.

Which is roughly the same thing, because it enables them to offer bigger packages. If they were to enable overselling they would have to either charge more, or reduce the packages.

It all depends on your package size to be honest. I've just recently purchased the same reseller account and plan on hosting no more than say 25 accounts on there (1-5GB space, 10-50GB bandwidth).
