I'm shopping around for a domain reseller, I have very specific needs, and I'm looking for help from the WHT community.

Features I *MUST* have:
* API Control to Register/Renew/Cancel/Change Whois Data
* Nameserver Creation through API
* Less than $1000 setup fee
* Decent pricing ($8~ a year would be nice)

Features I *WANT* to have:
* XML-RPC API
* SSL Certificate Sales with GeoTrust and RapidSSL by API
* Grace Deletion (Registrars have it, pass it on!)

Looking for anything, I can't seem to find ENOM's spec sheet on their API...

Also this reseller should preferably have a "sandbox" area. I don't want to waste $100 testing software...

enom and netearthone both support everything you've listed. I'm not sure what their normal minimum deposit is, but you can sign up for a copy of WHMCS and then open an account at either for free. Then in theory you could just cancel your WHMCS subscription and keep the reseller accounts...

Client Exec supports enom and netearthone since you have it on your site instead of WHMCS.

I think http://www.NetEarthOne.com is the way to go.

Your must have features are covered -- they offer all of that. We initially signed up with NEO because they didn't require a rather large deposit in order to get reseller pricing.

If you find the easter egg (it's simple to do), you can upgrade to Tier Two pricing without having to deposit anything.

I know that NEO supports XML-RPC and grace deletion. They also SSL certificates through their reseller program.

However, I'd recommend considering http://www.sslreseller.com for that. Pretty cool pricing with without a big deposit.

An eNom reseller account has all those features you are asking for.

Any enom reseller can create a free account with pricing of $8.95 for you -- no deposit required.
