I prefer Netgear, but I only have dlinks. ;) Btw, how much did that Netgear firewall set you back? JeremyV 11-24-2002, 06:36 PM I will only use netgear after having very poor experiences with D-Link and Linksys... netgear has never failed me. And you can pick it up from compUSA for $109 USD when purchased online. http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=293353 neil 11-24-2002, 08:37 PM Very Cool!! I have a 314 (which looks to be the same thing minus the vpn) that powers my home/office network. I also have a sonicwall soho3 what will do the vpn deal, but I haven't gotten around to hooking it up yet. One website you might want to check out it www.netgear.org - they have a lot of information about the 314. I personally have never had much luck with dlink equipment. And while cisco equipment is really nice - a 2600 is probably over kill for most peoples soho networks. The Dude 11-25-2002, 07:57 PM Hope u enjoy yourself my friend, looks neat!!! The Dude :P) |
