If you had a control panel that supported the following virtulization containers, which would you choose for VPS customers, and why?

Xen
QEMU
KVM
OpenVZ
VirtualBox
VMware ESX and GSX

Personally, I'd choose Xen or KVM as I've used them before. I'd like to hear your views on this.

Greetings:

For us, it was between Xen and VMWare with Xen finally winning.

In our case, I found XenCenter easier to use to manage VP's.

I did test OpenVZ/Virtuozzo, but it did not provide true virtualization. The file system was not standard; and there were other failure points when it came to interoperability with automation systems.

Xen and VMWare worked with everything that was thrown at them; so then it came down to a matter of personal preference.

Thank you.

Thanks very much. I think I'll be using Xen, although I'm not oo sure yet.

Xen or ESX, both are superior, I love ESX's control panels, and live migration features though.
