View Full Version : Investigating Timmy
Rochen 11-24-2002, 02:37 PM In the UK we have a TV program called Watchdog (http://www.bbc.co.uk/lifestyle/watchdog/). It’s basically a consumer program that goes about investigating scams – whether it be individuals, charities, multi nationals or small businesses.
I am just wondering if there is a similar program in the US that we could possibly report Timmy to and have them on his back for a month or so.
Just an idea however it would be cheaper than a lawsuit, he can be any age to be investigated, it would sure warn people and it may well make his parents listen.

filburt1 11-24-2002, 07:10 PM TechTV has a show called CyberCrime; try http://www.techtv.com/cybercrime/
The Laughing Cow 11-24-2002, 07:35 PM Heh I just missed out on being on Watchdog a couple of years ago. I complained about BTinternet when they were the first free 24/7 fixed fee ISP, something about not being able to connect IIR. They emailed me and said to call them, so I gave the researcher a call when I got back from school (a few years back now) and she said I just missed it and they got someone else on it :(
