Hello there,

I was wondering if anybody uses godaddy as their registar.
If so, I have recently changed the nameservers so my domain will be pointed to a new hosting provider,

To the point, I was wondering how long does it takes for godaddy propagates the new nameserver addresses?

Thanks guys.
I know Im' not making sense..

It's not really a matter of GoDaddy updating their dns records...it's a matter of everyone between them and you, expecially your isp, getting their records updated. It generally takes between 8 and 48 hours, with the occasional one taking as long as 72 hours...

I usually see results through my ISP and corporate network within 24 hours.

The .com/.net/.org name servers only update twice a day, so you could be waiting as long as 12 hours until the new name servers take effect. By then, any name server that doesn't have your old name servers cached will use the new name servers.
