im trying to sort out some private nameservers for a client that utilise two ips already used on our server for nameservers. its supposedly possible to use multiple nameservers per ip, but i cant seem to make it work. doesnt resolve. any help would be greatfully recieved.

I was under the impression that you should not use CName records for NS.

What about just assigning multiple A (Host) records to the same IP?

ahh true, i just remembered seeing it mentioned in connection with a cname. thanks ill give that a shot.
