Hi,
I am thinking of creating another project for web hosts. This one will help you to build up reputation easily.

I am thinking of creating it as a service as there are plenty of "administrative work" behind the scene.

What it will do basically is implement a rating star system on Live Chat and ticketing system which can be easily integrated into all major Live Chat and Ticketing applications.

When a customer is being serviced and provide a five star rating, a small ajax call will thanks the customer for the rating and ask them if they can provide more details to help the staff who just helped them out for promotion.

Then the customer will be brought to full detail rating submission form which will then interface with all the major web hosting review and rating sites all over the internet (real ones).

So one testimonial submission will be then submitted to all major review and rating sites.

With this service all web hosts which has done all the hard work servicing their customers, it will surely be noticed by the public.

What do you think of such a project? What a web host got to do is just to sign up for this service and the system will do the rest of the work.

Thanks for your input, WHT inputs always made my projects successful.

This stuff is fake time and time again. The whole concept has lost any sense of reliability because of all the "for profit" fake review sites.

on another note I am surprised to see you thinking about another venture after reading some of the allegations against you at amazon for instance. (if you are the same person that I am thinking of).

There are still honest review sites such as webhostingstuff.com, webhostingjury.com, webhostingreviews.com, the reviews being submitted are always verified by the review site owners.

There are still honest review sites such as webhostingstuff.com, webhostingjury.com, webhostingreviews.com, the reviews being submitted are always verified by the review site owners.

We posted a moderately negative review of one of the "Top Ten" reseller hosting companies listed on webhostingstuff.com. The problem was this: it allowed 1300+ web sites to go down for 48+ hours because they did not sufficiently monitor their hardware and had NO redundant systems in place to prevent the outage of such magnitude. Once the server was back up database connections, passwords and a litany of other problems popped up including not being able to log into our control panel for an additional 24+ hours. Actual downtime was never reported by webhostingstuff.com

The day after posting the outage report on webhostingstuff.com the report post disappeared. An email to webhostingstuff.com admins asking for an explanation returned NO response. Now the webhostingstuff.com site does not come up at all, most likely because our IP address is now being blocked.

Apparently webhostingstuff.com does not like anyone messing with their business model which is driven by how much each of the Top Ten hosts they "review" pays them. Whatever it used to be is no longer. Plain and simple it is now a scam scam scam!

Before deciding to use any "review site recommended" hosting company you need to drill very, very deep to determine who you will invest time and money in building your business. Choosing the wrong one will cost you dearly.

Buyer Beware!

I agree with the fact that reviews are often faked or just there for the owner to get paid. It is a great business model.

Your service would definitely provide value. My only concern is that you would need the cooperation of review sites? right?
