Greetings -
Anyone know whether it's possible to unsubscribe from the spam
that dnforum.com (a subsidiary of godaddy) sends out?
One can't edit its forum settings unless one has a paying membership,
and I'll be damned if that's gonna happen.
Cheers,
- Richard

I'm not a paid member, and was able to unsubscribe (immediate reaction to the same GD spam) by looking in the userCP, options and removing the check mark from "Receive Email from Administrators"

Thanks, Seņor Claus.
A few months back, I couldn't even access the CP --
attempts to access the CP page brought one to
page saying that only paid subscribers could access
that page.
I suspect some folks complained.

I have been down the same road with dnforum. They didn't allow an option to opt out of the spam they keep sending to try to persuade you into upgrading to a paid member once registered.
I finally ended up sending an email to someone at dnforum to remove me from their mailing (spam) list. I don't recall the email address at this time but it was at the bottom of the emails (spam) they so generously send.

I suppose sending them email with request should help you
