After moving to a new server (raq4 to a XTR) I would like to see if the /user directory on one domain can be installed into the new XTR since there are over +40 users on my user list.
They still reside on the old raq4 and also I have a ftp file on my local machine as a backup.
I can type all of them in thru the XTR UI but why type if a couple of mouse clicks may do.

RaQ 4 has no good way to export a user list. I believe XTR can import a list of users from a tab-delimited file, but you don't have a good way to create one from the RaQ 4.

You can migrate _all_ site content, users, etc via the Cobalt Migration Utility, available as a free download from the Sun site. It was designed for just what you're doing - migrating from a "smaller" server to a "bigger" one. I think there's a switch for the CMU (it's a commandline utility) that will do just users and not site content... sorry, but it's been a while since I played with it and don't remember all the specifics.
