View Full Version : Spare vBulletin License Wanted
ScottAndrews 11-23-2002, 11:40 AM Hello,
First, may I thank-you all for taking time to read this topic, now i'm going to get straight to the point :)
I am looking for someone to kindly donate a spare 'owned' license, with members access still, to me, free! You may think what a scam, but in return you WILL get advertising, a banner (468*60) right at the top of the forums, FOREVER!
This banner would not be in a rotation... If you are intrested please PM me, reply or contact me one of the perferred methords below please:
AIM = GamesRusUK
MSN = support@gamesrus.rr.nu
E-mail: GamesRusUK@aol.com
And finally, I nearly forgot to mention, my current forum is Invision Board (I would convert) and has not been open for long, we would grow much larger, as soon as we get a vB - so here it is, here (http://forum.gamesrus.rr.nu)
If you wish to make any other offers, please do
Regards,
AntiSpamHosts 11-23-2002, 11:51 AM how do you plan on growing larger, by simply having a vB?
do you have any guarantees?

As soon as I have a vBulletin, I will be starting my large advertising campaign - I have no guarantees as it would be impossible to give you one!
But I am 99.9% sure we would become a lot more popular!
Could I please ask, are you intrested? :)
Informity 11-23-2002, 12:28 PM why not use a free forum? people aren't going to give a vB to someone who might just take it and run...
i use wBB2 and it's excellent(far better than vB2 and looking better then vB3)
Plus you can get the "start" package for only $25

Thank-you for your reply.
I do not want to use wBB2, but thanks. I only want vB, and I am currently using Invision Board.
I will not 'just take it and run...', people now have my AIM, MSN, URL and much more... I'm not stupid :stickout:
I have people intrested and would like it if you would not spam my topic, thanks.
Regards, :)
Alex[nl] 11-23-2002, 12:48 PM Whats wrong with running it on Invision Board ?

Nothing, I just want vBulletin!
SBY Mike 11-23-2002, 01:23 PM How come you can't spend $85 on a license?

Please stop the spamming, you have warning level 5, do you want it higher? :stickout:
SBY Mike 11-23-2002, 01:32 PM Good luck on your search Mr. Andrews. Finding a person who will lend you a spare vBulletin license will be almost impossible, especially from WHT. Your gaming forum does not target Web Hosting clients to whoever sponsors your forum, plus it only has 88 members.
No Guarantees - No license
Once again, good luck.
Morgan Harvey 11-23-2002, 02:08 PM I'm sure I'll end up getting a 'warning level 5' for this ;). But in all honesty nobody's going to give you a vBulletin license for a free banner on a gaming forum with 88 members.
Nothing, I just want vBulletin!
Yes, and I want a private jet; we don't always get what we want. If you really need vBulletin then save up and get it yourself.
I'm not trying to be mean here, just being realistic. Good luck with your search.
Akash 11-23-2002, 02:14 PM How do you expect to advertise if you cannot afford VB??

I will do it myself :stickout:
Stp the spamming please, anymore and i'll report you!
Regards,
Akash 11-23-2002, 02:22 PM Um...I wasn't spamming i was asking a legitimate question.
Just because you have VB doesnt mean you will get loads of visitors right away. It will either take A LOT of hard work or a few bucks to get your forums noticed. You seem lack either.
Suggestions:
Stick with invision until yoru forums get a little busier. By this time, you should have enough visitors to get someone to advertise and then you can use this money to buy VB.
Chicken 11-23-2002, 02:37 PM Agreed with above and thread starter requested this request be closed. So be it.
