I'm a linux guru that is looking for some extra money so I can buy a house. I have 7 years experience, and have worked with all the major hosting control panels (H-Sphere, Cpanel, Ensim, etc). I can install custom software, troubleshoot scripts, secure and harden servers so the won't get broken into easily, and set up intrusion detection.

I can do work in: RedHat, FreeBSD/OpenBSD, Cobalt, Linux (slackware, mandrake, etc).

Well buying the house in August, but that won't mean I won't stop working. Then i gotta pay off the house. Once the mortgage is paid, then MAYBE I retire. ;) But that's a lot of money, and a while for now.

As far as price range, I'm very flexible depending on if it is a one off project, or a long term one. I also only charge for what I work. (i.e. if it takes me 5 minutes, I won't charge you 2 hours).

I'd also consider doing work for in-kind pricing (i.e. for hosting or a ded server, obviously depending on the work). Send me a PM or email on the kind of work you are looking for and we'll come up with a price that makes sense.
