Hi guys ,

I would like to know how can translate the perl desk script to another language , I tried to translate it in to arabic language through the language files but the script can't display it , I know that the problem is with the charset tag .

So i want some one to tell me which file that i should edit to make the script display the arabic language correctly .

dude i have no experience with arabic language so i can't really help you. however if u find a solution to your problem with perl desk do let all of us know too.

The problem is not with the arabic language..
the problem is with the charset tag , i just want to know which file i should edit to make the script display the encoding that i want..

for example the charset for the arabic language is : 1256

If I understand your problem correctly - and that's a big if, considering I'm only on my first cup of coffee this morning - the file you want to edit is (under the installation of perldesk or perlbill)

/include/tpl/default.tpl

Change the charset encoding tag in here, and you should see the display you want.

If I answered the wrong question, blame the overdose of blood in my caffeine-stream. I'm working to correct the imbalance even as I keyboard. :D
