Hey guys, this is going to sound extremely stupid.. but here goes.

I've got a WHMCS that I am setting up at the moment and I'm up to configuring the hosting packages.

I have got a WHM login for creating plans / accounts etc manually.

How can i make whmcs automatically create the hosting accounts and interact with WHM?

You need to add your server to WHMCS then set the packages to that server

You add the server by going to Setup > Servers > Add New Server

You put in the Name of the ServerHostname(Put your account IP in),
IP Address(Put your account IP in),
Monthly Cost of the Server,
Your Datacenter(Softlayer, The Planet, etc.),
Put in 200 or something like that for the amount of accounts.,
Server Status URL(yourwhmcsurl.com/status/ folder),
Primary Nameserver(ns1.yourdomain.com),
Your First Nameserver IP,
Secondary Nameserver(ns2.yourdomains.com and so on.
Type is cpanel,
your whm username,
your whm password,
your remote access key from your whm.

Go to Setup > Products/Services > Create New Group

You create a group. Like Reseller Hosting or Shared Hosting etc.

Now go to Setup > Products/Services > Create New Product

Go to Module Settings. Select cPanel and Make sure the information matches your WHM.
Check this one at the bottom:
Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received

I hope this helps. ;)

great, I've got that working. :)

Thank you.

I'm also trying to set up some registrars and I am running them in test mode.

It seems to work fine if i manually accept the domains without payment and then in the client login i can see the domains but if i click manage DNS or anything I just get a white page.

I suppose this is because it's in test mode? But if so how do i actually know it's working properly etcetc?

I'm also curious if it's possible to add something together like.

SSL + hosting + domain in a package for a one off price of say $129

Instead of individual items only.

I can see where I can add a free domain to hosting, but I'd like to add a free SSL certificate. (enom)

Look in the menu at the top, I'm not quite sure which drop down but there should be a link in one of them that says Add-ons. You can create our addons there and clients will be able to select if they want it or not.

For the info you need, your best bet would be to have a look at the whmcs wiki, its packed with all the info you need. If after reading that you dont get it then for sure you can get loads of help here, but best bet would be to try and help yourself, you learn more that way. The wiki is herehttp://wiki.whmcs.com/Main_Page

Which registrar are you using? If enom, did you remember to register your IP with them?

it happens with any registrar (i've got 3 in there) and I can still see the domain availability etc. I just thought using 'testapi' and whmcs in test mode i'd be able to see the dns features etc.

I am really having trouble creating a pack.
I want to create a $129 pack / bundle / group of products.

DOMAIN + SSL + HOSTING x 1 year in a pack = $129

You can simply create the addons individually to allow the clients to choose them. IMHO if the client does not need or want the added features they would not take it. I have a web design package that says you get a free domain and a lot of clients already have there domain and therefore does not need one and would not select that option. Less work for me in the long run :)
