I am looking to sell some domains soon, but where do I start?

Is here a good place to sell them? Do I put them on eBay? And how much do I put them up for sale for?

You could try Sedo.

This forum has a domain sale section too. Namepros is a good idea as well. eh...eBay. You could try there but a majority of the people don't use it for domains, on namepros however, it's mostly based on domains, so you'll have a much bigger chance of selling.

dnforum is another excellent place... but there's a fee to sign up for their forums. it's relatively small though (something like $50 bucks for a lifetime platium membership.. they have some half price promotion going on now)

Wherever you try, I would try somewhere where there is minimal investment involved. You don't want to buy a subscription somewhere to only find out your domains are worthless, or the userbase isn't interested in buying domains.

You can try namepros and domainstate as there is no fee for listings. Other good sites are sedo ( you need to pay for featured listing), afternic (need to pay as well for membership). Dnforum and Godaddy are also good.

If your domain name has been accompanied by a strong website, containing lots of pages and enjoying some top rankings as well as Google high PR values, the price could be high and many webmasters would be interested in buying that but simply having a domain name which has limited number of characters or easy to remember terms may not nowadays seem so attractive.

There are certain websites specially for marketing the domain name at free. You just need to search on the Google as "selling domain name" or something similar to like this. I am sure you will get there lots.
