I was talking to a Look/Easyhosting (http://www.easyhosting.com) (the same company that runs Tucows/OpenSRS) support guy last night and you know what: after not finding the dot-ca domain that one of my clients was trying to renew (the password that had been resent earlier on did not work), I told him that OpenSRS's own whois clearly showed EasyHosting.com as the registration service provider. But then he said it could be outdated and pointed me to checkdomain.com and said that the domain name was NOT registered with them but a company called "Canadian Internet Registration Authority" which might also be a reseller of Tucows. Can you believe this?! We all know who CIRA (http://www.cira.ca/en/about_mission.html) is, right? I decided it's time not to engage in further conversation with this "knowledgeable" person.
