I created name servers at stargate and everything was working fine. But now need to change the IP address of the name servers to a new one.
I tried to just change the ip address under the name server tab under the domain programmersolutions.com but that did not change the name server ip address.
I tried the host tab to delete the old name sever and add a new one but it will not allow a delete of the name server.
I cannot add the name server with the correct ip address since it already exists.
Any ideas while i wait for a response from email support. Phones say go to web.
when u changed it in the control panel at "programmersolutions.com" it most probably did work, however it will take 24hours for the information to be live and updated on the internet?

i changed it over a week ago in the domain and all accounts pointing to the name server? Whois shows all all accounts pointing to the new ip address.
But when I go to www.nsiregistry.com to look at ns1/ns2, the old ip address is still there?

if you read their faq it will state that nameserver changes can't be done through the control panel. you have to submit a ticket to them to have it done.
expect about a week for them to answer but they will change it.

I missed that in the FAQ!
I will get the prioritycolo name server ip's from Myles later tonight and just change it to that on the other web sites so i won't delay that process any long.
thanks for the fast comments

Stargate.com - Tom,
This was fantastic and fast work on my name servers. Keep up this kind of service.
The last 6 months was pretty rocky with any support and billing issues. It looks like you have moved beyond those problems!
