i have some servers.my name servers resides on one of them.i would like to remove the name servers totaly from my servers and disable that service.
and i want a provider that can setup my name server and manage them (to provide it in different geographical locations for reliability)
any guide for such companies!
note: i need to use ns.mydomain.com not the provider's name servers.

There are some free and pay DNS services out there, but I don't know of any that allow you to specify and use your own name server addresses. Some might, I just don't think they do (I could be wrong). I imagine you can probably contact a few hosting providers and get a very cheap price, since you'd only need an IP and you'd use a tiny amount of bandwidth at most.

I don't really see that as breaking the forum rules. He wasn't self-promoting, plus he was giving advice related to the thread-starters question.. Give him a break..

Correct, but as he was stating that .. i could give you an IP and provide ... .. mentioning the word I is'nt self promoting?

BTW: No problem with me, I am not much strict about this but you know, it gets you B A N N E D :) hehe ..
