Are you a Tier 3 provider?

As all the traceroutes I do seem to go thru fast.net, not the backbonez you claim to have. Looks to me like you only have one route/provider.

Why iz dat?

Also, your IP does not ping anymore, and I cannot get to your website, somekind of crazy loop, see below:

Cheap old hardware? Congratulations, you have just won the "understatement of the year" award.

Lets see what we have here...

A Cisco 7000. Nice piece of gear, for 1996. I had one of these. It made a really great end table. These will NOT run any recent versions of IOS, you have limited ACL syntax (no CBAC), - its both EOS and EOL from Cisco. 16MB ram! Wow. You can forget BGP too.

AUI transceivers - converts AUI to RJ45. This means that despite him (dreaming about) having an OCwhateverhemadeup, that means YOU (the customer) will never, ever get more than 10Mb (less than that in practice). This can be achieved with a few bonded T1s. Why is it when everyone else is moving to gigabit over copper that you are picking the slowest networking gear you can find?

CSU/DSU, V.35 cables. Me thinks hes trying to set up a T1. Perhaps thats going to be his "really fast network".

Old Catalysts - Those two 5K cats sure do have a lot of 10baseT ports on em. Hope you arent advertising your network as 10/100.

Cat 2800 - No folks, its not a network, its an antique show!

Quit being cheap and buy your customers real hardware, not this junk.

Is it just me or does it seem like more and more host's these days are coming on the forum bragging about stuff they dont even have.

Hosts: DO NOT TRY TO DO THIS. YOU WILL GET BUSTED.

sheesh.

hey jhh

why dont you tell everyone what company u work for?

seems kinda odd that a total newbie who only has one post, which is the one in here knows so much.

considering that the 7010 that was bought was for a wireless project that we are working on. and the base stations only go 10mbit so why dont you let everyone know who u are and where you work since the only post you have is in here.

gee i wish a certain noc in the area would quit creating accounts on here to bas me when they dont know anything
