Which control panel allow reselling of disk space and bandwith.
As more than 80% of disk space is not used by the end user and the resellers. But when system admin and resellers makes hosting plans by limiting the disk space and bandwith they reach a limit where overselling is not allowed. Is it possible to oversell or in other words to sell the unused disk space and bandwith.
Which of these allow overselling.
WHM/Cpanel
Plesk
Ensim
H-sphere
Hosting controller

The host can allow it in WHM/cpanel if they want.
AS great as overselling sounds tho you can very easliy end up with an out of control oversold server, that is horrible to be on and even worse to administer. Can you imagine 20 or 30 resellers on one server all allowed to sell unlimited domains and space and bandwidth, plus the host overselling on top of it?
What is to limit anything? You could end up on a box with 4000 domains. Gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Let me put it in this way.
Your server comes with 100GB of cap. And you have 10 resellers each with 4GB space and 10GB of bandwith. This way with 40Gig HDD its limit. But the 80-20 rule is still alive.
And no reseller is using more than 2GB of space 5GB of transfer PM so is it possible to add another 2 resellers in box.
Don't shiver its just discussion it don't happens in the real.

Trouble is it does happen for real.
Yes you can add a few more and push it out there.
But lets say I have 10 resellers and I let them each oversell as much as they want. So each one goes out and sells 8 and 80 gigs since he is playing the overselling game, by doing this if he is allowed unlimited domains then he could sell 100 150 sites. So you could end up with 1000 - 2000 sites hosted on that server and all 10 resellers using the max space and bandwidth they are allowed.
You really want to be hosted on that box?

How come reselling companies offers host unlimited domains offers in 1GB space. They dont put more than 15-20 resellers in one box. So it means they are overselling.

I am sorry I do not understand your point.
If a host offers a reseller plan with 1 gig of space and sells it to 20 resellers how is that overselling?
Not all host oversell, most do but some don't.

Suppose you offer plan of 1000MB with 10000MB data transfer to host unlmited domains. in your 80GB server.
How would you put it...
Like i was going to your website and you too are offering unlimited domain kinda thing.
Isn't it overselling.

In 80GB server can't you make 10 reseller of 10GB each...
And like disk space is it possible to oversell bandwith.
