View Full Version : Domain name not propagated after 72 hours!

Whois is pointed to ns1.certifydev.com and ns2.certifydev.com... Here is what I have set in the DNS using plesk. Did I do it correctly? the nameservers ns1.cerifydev.com and ns2.certifydev.com is recently created 72 hours ago with the help of verisign support guys.

Says your name servers are not replying, so the issue is there, not in the dns propagating.

I was able to ping my nameserver yesterday and they day before... :confused:

because you can ping it doesn't mean it isn't down. The DNS service itself may be down. Check on the servers themselves to see whether the dns service is running or not.

What is the command to check if my dns is working?

try telnetting to port 53 on the server, or typing 'ps auxww | grep bind' and seeing if the program is running (i'm assuming you are using bind for dns)
