View Full Version : GetMeHosted.com needs a fresh new Design

Fresh, new site design is needed.

The current design at www.GetMeHosted.com is a template that fit our needs at the time. We put it up as "temporary" and grew to like it. Now that it's used at a couple other sites, we like it less. However, we still like it. We just need something different.

Our budget is fairly open-ended. But, we'd really like to keep it under $300. That doesn't mean we wouldn't spend more, if we saw the "perfect for us" design. And we could be persuaded to pay less.

We don't know exactly what we want and need someone that can work with us to that end. What we are definitely looking for is something that has not been displayed. So, if you have something to submit, send us the URL. Don't post it here. If you've had it here for sale before; don't send us the URL. We want something that has not been seen. This is a very important detail of what we are looking for.

We will be using the content that is at the current site. Some re-writes will take place of course. But, the basics will remain.

We need the index page and an inner page that we can use for the rest.

What we like about the current design:

Easily editable by us.
The side menu travels with every page.
The plans travel with every page.
Ease of navigation

What we want in the new design:

Different plan boxes (seeings how we have no plan "boxes")
Nice buttons.
No flash. Needs to be extremely 56k friendly. (I suppose that doesn't mean NO flash then)
Client Log In that matches the plan boxes

Do not post the URL to your work here. Email it to design@getmehosted.com

Feel free to ask questions in this thread, by PM, or email.

heh.. generally when someone has a budget of $300 they are looking for something more than a $20-$30 template is0lized.

Hello SoftWareRevue,

I am interested in providing my services to you for this project, but would like to know what sort of time constraints you have in mind. Could you please reply in this thread, via PM, or send an email to mark@incitedesigns.net thank you.

We are looking for something within perhaps a month.
I think four weeks should be enough time.

As I mentioned, we like what we have. So this isn't high priority.

But, on the other hand, we want to be done with it as well.

However, if someone shows us a preview that makes us go "WOW! That's just what we're looking for!", we could wait until it's finished.

SWR didn't want you to post your templates in this forum!!! He wants something no-one has seen. That template is now wasted in this thread.

I didn't even click the link. :)

But, I guess I should, so I know what it was.

Hey, I like that little gizmo above the menu that follows the cursor back and forth. :)

who cares if someone has seen it, I think you want people to see your website. The point is that it has never been sold, yet. I say buy the best possible website you can, period.

You may have a good point.
But, this decision is not entirely my own.
That stipulation is one made by another.
We'll see if he's flexible.

Sorry to be late in updating this.

We are having a hard time deciding between two. You know who you are.

Thank you to everyone that submitted. I appreciate you taking time to show your work. I can see some real talent. Thanks!!

Now back to my difficult task on a decision. :)
