It's not funny at all folks.... Seattle has some bad unemployment figures; I have friends there that are without a job for almost a year.

Hahahahahahahaaaa!!

Would be funny if the "buyer" pays him via creditcard and gets repaid + 20$ via PayPal and then CHARGES BACK!! LOL

80$ profit for the buyer - 40$ (60$-20$) loss for the seller :D

I can see these coming fast and frequently (? mean same thing?)

Anyways, in this instance the guy probably does have a genuine cause, maybe he's got no real friends, or maybe he has but they are sick of borrowing him money, but a (20) feedback with high value products isn't worth risking for $60.

But I'd guess things like this are against PayPal terms, especially if the buyer pays by credit card?, probably against eBay terms as well.

That is kinda funny.........Its even funnier someone paid him (I hope its not a scam!!)

Even if he plans to pay it back, I wouldnt trust him with credit history like that, at least only 1 in 32k people who saw it acually bid on it.

Tell you what: I am a PowerSeller on eBay and I can tell you that even if you have 1000+ (positive) feedbacks you do NOT wanna go looking for a BAD one... especially for 60$!

He's very lucky he didnt get ripped!!!!!!!!!!! Most people would try and scam someone like that, think about it:

1) No way to find out who it is

2) Hide behind the scene!!!!

I dunno.........Im glad it all turned out 4 the better though!!

Here's the kicker...

I've bought and sold on ebay for a while. I'm simply AMAZED at the number of people who will leave feedback like "Great product" "Best quality" etc. when they HAVEN'T EVEN RECEIVED THE ITEM! I guess they don't understand the whole rating concept.

Once I was looking for some photo paper and emailed about 20 people who bought paper from this company on ebay AND left POSITIVE FEEDBACK. I received about 15 replies back saying "oh... I haven't received it yet" or "I haven't tried it yet".

Why would you ever leave positive feeback if you haven't even received / tested the item. Very silly!
