50gb prepaid - $40.00
100gb prepaid - $75.00
Bandwidth is provided by Multiple Fiber connections (BGP4 Setup) to:
Currently in place:
AT&T, Qwest, XO, Yipes, Williams
In the works:
Alliance One, Broadwing, Cable & Wireless, Digex, GlobalCrossing, Level(3), MFN, SBC, Telia, UUNET, Warner
The providers "in the works" may not be added but we're working on it. We are very close to adding UUNET and MFN though.
Bandwidth Amounts:
AT&T - 100Mbps
Qwest - 100Mbps
XO - 100Mbps
Yipes - 100Mbps
Williams - 100Mbps
Usage is split between all 5 carriers currently inplace so not one line is transfering a hell of a lot of bandwidth but we can easily upgrade to gigabit amounts in bandwidth should we require it (I don't see us doing this anytime soon or anytime in the future). We're also testing a 100Mbps link to MFN (Hopefully that will be in place soon). I cannot see any of the other carriers being without our budget anytime soon. UUNET negotiations are not too good on 100mbps ethernet (we can't afford their current prices with our current 500gb deals or $2.00 overcharge rate or our planned 10mbps unmetered deals at $500 or less per month extra)
Our network is transfering around 100Mbps average over 150 servers (With 500Mbps total bandwidth available - more than enough for current server stock and additional 150 servers planned to be added within next 90 days) (whole cage is transfering around 400Mbps-1000Mbps average)
ADDED NOTE:
Explaination how our Data Transfer system works now:
Actual Transfer In + Actual Transfer Out = Transfer Used
IPs are assigned based upon justication only (5 IPs Assigned upon setup).
clocker1996 11-22-2002, 12:02 AM I'm interested (NOT KIDDING HERE)
Where are these servers located?
Also, what datacenter ?

mushrew 11-22-2002, 12:06 AM Can I finally get the test IP.....I really want a server but can't make any decisions until I can test out the pings =/.

Did you not get an email from me? I'm sure I sent an email to you with a test file to download (link to a test server) and the IP of the test server to ping/traceroute.
We directly don't seem to be able sell many servers via webhostingtalk. This stock is available to our resellers as well, so expect it to go quickly :o :)
If anyone is interested in being a reseller for us we offer special "deals". Your clients will never know your not the actual server provider as we do not brand them or even manage them (all unmanaged).
Note: i'm going to post an amazing deal on some Sydney based colocation.
mushrew 11-22-2002, 12:16 AM Never got the e-mail, please PM it to me. Do you offer similar deals in any eastern US datacenters?
tazzy 11-22-2002, 12:18 AM In a cabinet/cage in the Sydney, Layerone data-center (we hope to get this soon if interest is genuine and in enough quantity to full it :)

Well. What state(s) would you like a server in?
Connectivity is very good in Dallas.
homeiss 11-22-2002, 12:54 AM Do you have a site yet? If not, when do you plan on it? What kind of support do you offer?
mushrew 11-22-2002, 12:58 AM I already have a bunch of servers from RS in texas and though it would be nice to convert over to better bandwidth I don't really want to pay $1000+ in setup fees. Since texas is covered by RS, i need an east coast provider now (been shopping for about 2 weeks.) Do you have AIM or ICQ or any other way of contact where we could discuss deals?
Oooooh, That Sydney colo sounds FANTASTIC, tell me more

How many servers exactly do you have :D ?
A reseller price deal may be of interest for you if you have a few servers ;)

tazzy 11-22-2002, 05:10 AM Would everyone be happy to keep the current deals or pay $100.00 per month extra and add C&W , Level(3) , UUNET ?
We're also looking at adding the 100mbps port to Cogent Communications we have access to, this would not increase the price or would we put this carrier as primary. We would simply add Cogent to our multihomed list and keep our current carriers as main with cogent available should cogent be the best link (BGP4 Style) :)
What does everyone think?
mushrew 11-22-2002, 05:25 AM $100/mo would be overbudge for me though C&W would be very nice...please check PM again =).
Techark 11-22-2002, 05:28 AM Leave it as is or add the cognet to the mix but not the extra $100.00
tazzy 11-22-2002, 05:36 AM The extra $100.00 was just an idea :) Adding Cogent to the mix is the same kind of idea to get additional bandwidth cheaper than buying additional 100mbps from additional carrier or upgrading a line... but our MFN connection should be online within days :)
tazzy 11-22-2002, 05:38 AM Actually I may upgrade our XO communications connection soon as its pretty good quality and very reliable and also transfers a lot of data (good peering as well). 100Mbps extra from them and 100Mbps from Qwest is probably the way we will go if we need more than the extra 100Mbps from MFN.
We will never use Cogent
clocker1996 11-22-2002, 07:17 AM First, my post may seem out of order, but i just woke up.
Anyway, this deal does sound really good, but for some reason i just dont trust you tazzy
1. you're only 15 or 16
2. earlier, you were trying to reselll servers froma bunch of places, which didn't work out
3. you approached me on icq, asking for work, so you could pay your phone bill
I mean don't get me wrong. the server deals look great, and the bw that is being offered makes it even bettter, but i just have a bad feeling about this. i dont think i can have my business rely on a 15-16 year old
and here you are saying "i'm going to upgrade my XO connection"
i mean, i used to see you all the time, post all kinds of server offers, and all you would say is "PM ME for more details"
Now i know why. because you were reselling.
you go from desperately trying to find work online, to "upgrading your XO connection"
I find it hard to believe its yours.
almost every post that you've posted in the dedicated server special section you always just post specs of the machine and say PM ME for details..
i always wondered why you did that. makes me think that you're not selling these servers directly, or maybe that you're reselling.. but then i think, how is he reselling at such low prices for such good bw? and sitll not offering any sort of info... web page. test ip... location... everything has to be taken in private.
i mean when i look at you, i see
no real name
no company name
no email
no test ip
no location
just server specs and price, and that i am going to be buying a server off SOME GUYYYY named tazzy whos 15-16.
and before anyone jumps on my back about "how do you know all this" -- he had told me on icq a few weeks ago.
so before anyone starts saying oh clocker you're just here to waste peoples time blah blah you're not really interested in buying
there are a few people on WHT who know me, and can tell you that i have serveral dedicated servers, and i AM a serious buyer. i just like to be careful.
Hostany Web 11-22-2002, 08:15 AM You are in UK, correct? :erm:

Thanks clocker! :)
Should have realised there was something fishy when he always replied to request for test IP requests with an offer/better features.
richy 11-22-2002, 09:44 PM hmm so whos the parent company cos a dual p3 1.26 gig with 1 gb ram cpaneland 2x 80 gb drives and 500 gb xfer is a nice deal at how it works out on those prices. about 160 bucks a month. thats pretty sweet.
but yes im not overly confident in the backing of the offer.
mushrew 11-22-2002, 10:35 PM I still haven't received any IPs for testing...he's "working on it." =/
clocker1996 11-23-2002, 01:51 AM EXACTLY what i mean.
I remember one time i asked for a test ip, and he said that he would have it in a few days
What kind of **** is that??
why post an offer if you can't provide info on it "yet"
tazzy 11-23-2002, 02:10 AM Hello Clocker1996,
I wrote a lot then went to open up a new tab in Mozilla and it closed every one including the one I was just about to submit to this thread, and left open google.com.
Anyhow the jist of it was:
I have not scammed anyone.
I do not own any companies. I do however work freelance for some companies (and only a few in sales, because I don't like doing sales work much [Much more of a support guy]).
Yes, I am 15 (not 16). I don't see a problem with this as I've never said anything different? If you have a problem with my age clocker1996, please feel free to ICQ me (I don't have your ICQ # anymore).
I'm quiting all my sales jobs now, I'm feedup with being screwed around by people who give me things to offer but when I need more information they don't have it. This is why I hate remote sales work (one of the reasons).
I will not use WHT for anything other than reading or responding to questions I know the answer for now or looking for any work for myself.
Sorry for the hassle caused, I'm out of here. I'm on ICQ clocker if you want to talk.

See post above yours.
I think I better get this thread closed before people keep asking questions about the offers. Anyone who wants to talk to me about this (not the deals) just pm me with your ICQ number and i'll ICQ you.
Thanks
Hostany Web 11-23-2002, 08:42 AM Fine, but how are you going to manage it the colocation in Sydney?

Read my post titled "Hello Clocker1996"
grandad 11-23-2002, 01:14 PM This guy is a joke - I would like to see a post from anyone who has had a server from him.

I'm guessing he is just selling for a colo provider, thus getting the sale, not managing the colo.
tazzy, any news on the Sydney Colo front?

I'm afraid I no longer have any sales or promotion relationships with any hosting or domain or any such like internet service providers as of this time or do I have any plans to have any such relationships. *gasp*
Basically, NO. I will be sticking to technical and general support duties and administration duties with repitable hosts. :) (The best way).
Thanks for your time
PS: Everyone please read this and the "hello Clocker1996" post before posting. Thankyou.

I don't see this addressing any of the concerns voiced here. I think that the post mentioned below was a con and it was certainly a waste of my time - what makes you think we don't see this as the same load of rubbish? The only way to prove us wrong is to show us who got ANY of the servers you posted as being available ...

tazzy 11-24-2002, 10:18 AM Hello,
I'm not quite following?
Get some points out and about here for everyone to understand:
1. I do NOT do any sales or promotion for any ISP companies anymore neither do I have access to who did or did not order servers from any referals.
2. I am not going to be selling any servers or any products via this website or any other website(s).
3. The only reason this thread has not been deleted or close is because I feel that a reason WHY I am not handling any servers is required and I don't want lots of pm's asking for more information on such like products.
4. Con? Run a list of names to me who I have with solid written evidence that I have conned them out of money?
Prove you wrong? prove you wrong as to what?
If you want to ask me questions regarding this situation feel free to pm me but please do not pm to order a server or enquire about any servers as I do NOT sell any servers or promote any companies anymore. I simply did have a referal based sales job with some people but I cannot verify anymore information as I do not want to go into anymore details and which is another reason WHY I will not engage in any sales related work.
Thanks,
Carl
richy 11-24-2002, 12:39 PM grandad unless you have proof or an expensive lawyer who specalises in liable id let this one drop. the situation is pretty simple to grasp. the guy no longer offers servers after doing sales for other companies. they let him down, he now wants to work technical. any poncing about the issue is mute point.

I really don't think either is necessary, the facts speak for themselves - you are right, it is a mute point, just unfortunate that so many people wasted their time on it.
DefiantPc 11-24-2002, 01:45 PM Tazzy, could you provide the name of the company that you were representing when you made this offer?

Hello,
Yes I am sorry, its the way things go. People out trying to make a quick buck. Stupid old me needing some $$$ and got wheeled in then all of a sudden bye bye he is gone.
Ezzy Online i'm afraid (He got me to upload and setup his forums and setup everything) [the url was: http://rgrant.users13.donhost.co.uk] He was going to be using that for free hosting aswell via donhost reseller package. If you notice its gone and so has he
I didn't really want to give out the name as I feel stupid as I had rejected a lot of sales jobs with companies who were and are good and have a good rep and then I accept one from a fraud. There isn't much I can say on the subject... except never again will I accept any kind of sales job in the ISP business unless its a good one and on-site or something like that. I prefer doing support/administration work anyhow.
Sorry for wasting everyones time :bawling:
richy 11-24-2002, 02:52 PM true grandad , i was interested myself, a dual p3 with 1 gb ram and 2 x 80 gb drives and cpanel for 150-160 a month is very very nice indeed with that amount of bandwidth. I wasted time on it also, but i also got in touch with tazzy who explained, at the end of the day yes it was a pain but thats life. He's a nice guy who got screwed over by a bad supplier.
Is the Sydney Colo option dead now as well?
