Hello,
I am in the development stages of creating a new website. I am now in a position to buy a domain name and decide on a website name.
I now need some help and suggestions on a domain name (website name will be the same!). There are a few points I will make about the suggestions, and also info on what the website is all about.
About the site - Take this into account when thinking up a name:
* Articles - The site is going to contain 'interesting' articles. They will not be 'how-to's' etc (an example of an article that might appear on the site could be 'the most bizarre medical conditions', there will also be other articles on mind boggling world and general knowledge facts etc.
Finally these articles will be of an informative genre, and (hopefully) the reader will learn something new.
* Debating - There is also going to be a debating system. User's will be able to post a new topic, and users will in turn debate the topic. Users will be able to rate etc.
* Community orientated - Lastly, the website will be very community orientated and interactive. Users will be able to submit articles to the site database, review and rate other articles, debate articles, post comments etc. There will also be forums, photo galleries, other content sharing and competitions/challenges etc for them to engage in. There will be more in the future too!
About the domain:
I would like you to take 2 things into account.
* Branding - I would like a catchy, appealing and creative domain. It must also be memorable.
* SEO - Ideally the domain will have a keyword in it. It should be descriptive of the site (look at about the site too see what it should describe!).
An example could be - interestingarticles.com
This is only simple, I want something more creative, but to a similar effect. Finally, keep it short and sweet please!
I know this is a long and detailed post, but im just trying to waste less of your time.
Any suggestions on a suitable domain name (not looking to buy from you) just ideas of domain names.
Thanks so much! Jamie.
