I keep getting spam from Supersize Hosting, and not once bet every few days, same message. :angry:

They have their 1-888-869-4678 number on it, and when I call it, it is Velocity hosting. Maybe I should call and make them pay :angry:

I do not know the other company, as it is **'ed out, but I think that supersizehosting.com should be ***'ed out too.

the **ed out is hi velocity.net (without the space), i think they used supersizehosting as a coverup, and to spam on here.

I looked at the whois and they look very simular (but still diffrent.

I just got 3 more of them. I posted earlier this week about these guys. And to boot they are out of FL. Maybe the attorny general there can help. they do have the best laws against spammers.

Just tried to chat with them online, and they quickly closed the session.

PHPLive asked me to forward the spam e-mail [did that]
I showed them this thread
And the guy said that he got that spam before also :D

So he is going to the Administration of PHPLive and see if they can terminate the Live Chat on supersizehosting.com.

I got that spam too. :angry:

Let me introduce you to supersizehosting.com a persistent, repeated SPAMMER.

The forum is being spammed by users who were spammed by the spammer. That's spam for ya.

I have received many spams from this sh*t company. It is strange that I always receive this with another advertise about BULLETPROF hosting (where you can send spam without problem)

They did not sent the email from JTel networks.

depends on what mail server/program you are using. Basically it works by looking where the mail is originating and if its listed in the DNSBL the mail gets returned typically with a message of "Mail blocked due to spam issues ...(whatever DNSBL your using) a good place to look is relays.osirusoft.com or spam.abuse.net

It is always great to run ipdetective on it and then contact some of the customers and ask if they like having their mail blackholed. Don't lie, show them the spam, show them the spews entry. Educating their customers is the worst thing for them you could do.

I am after these spammer, and I am trying to shut down the tools they use to spam (as I get daily spam from them). Those companies that provide these tools to spammers have/will look at this thread.

I went to there online chat today and chatted with Thomas for a while :laugh: I told him my last host booted me because I was sending out spam on the servers so I figured that if I find a host that spams they should not mind if I do also right? he told me he was not sure at first, waited about 5 minutes then he told me that is was not allowed.. thats quite the support crew they have going on over there..

You will notice no one ever says anything bad about our service or support on this forum. No complaints about downtime like a lot of the other companies I see discussed here. There is a reason for that Jack. We offer a great product and service.

I blocked supersize for a while, about a month ago I took off the block to see if it/they stopped. No, it didn't. I couldn't stop myself, here's my conversation...

Yeah these guys are SPAMMING at tremendous rate... they are catching whois records also, as many SPAMS i got were never used here.

One more SPAMMER very active is greatfamilyoffers.com , thanks to SPAM supporter RackSpace.com which is not doing anything even after lot of complaints through SPAMCOP to abuse@rackspace.com

As this thread just came back to life, I want to add that they are now also known as www.octanehost.com and they are using this as the spamming name.

So as rackspace.com allows these spammers to exist wont thier ip's become blacklisted?
May have made my decision about where to park my servers. shame they had such good rates too.
May get better as they become less able to provide mail services because of blackholes.

? you say they are so bad but i havn't seen to many hosting companys offer free Miva on every account which even inculdes the lowest price account. That in it self seems like a good deal.

I currently host with them and I am happy with the 24/7/365 tech support I get. And like I said if it wasn't for the free Miva on every account I wouldn't be able to have my store up and running for so cheap.

After reading this entire thread, I've come to realize that some of you resellers must be making a ton of cash already to be spending so much time investigating spam emails.

Don't get me wrong... I hate it when I get spam.
I've gotten "spammed" by supersize (**********), and I used to just delete the mail.

I've pretty much filtered out everyone else but for some reason I never filtered them.

The main problem I see here is that nobody has taken the time to review their services as a host. That is what I care about, and that is how I found this thread. I searched for supersize looking for some reviews about their service because my current host sucks as far as uptime and emergency customer support.

I guess I will have to look elsewhere for some "PERTINANT" information.

I certainly don't mean to keep this thread going, however, I have a general rule of thumb when it comes to dealing with any company online. If you spam me, you won't be getting my business. I've never asked for Super Size's newsletter, or their ten other companies that spammed me as well. Octane, YourHost, and all the others. The only think they need to be looking at from me is the bottom of my deleted items folder.
