Hi,
I've recently opened an account with Site5 and was wondering if anyone can tell me the best way to go about learning how to use all the features in my Control Panel.
I know absolutely nothing and can't seem to find an online manual at the site.
I actually signed up with Site5 because of all the great things I read in this forum. And my new account looks great. I just don't know how to use or setup anything.
Any help with this... like pointing me in the right direction... or anything will be much appreciated.
Kindly,
John

Give this a shot:
http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cp/
Doesn't cover every aspect, but it'll get you aquainted with Cpanel in general.
Does Site5 use CPanel? I thought for sure they used NetAdmin. Maybe I'm wrong.. Either way, I'd contact your host and ask them to direct you to some simple instructions.

Ahh...looking now, I think you're right. I assumed because they offer it with dedicated machines. :)
My bad...:)
netadmin is just an uber cpanel skin.
My bad. Sorry! Should have butted out and let lightnin handle it.

Hi. NetAdmin is not merely a skin. It is a whole other backend and addition to the Cpanel base. It allows Site5 to implement whatever custom features or changes they wish. It's actually a very powerful combination and allows for unlimited modifications and features.

Hi John,
Most of the features, as you will see, are pretty straight forward. However, if you have any questions, please email shared server support at shared@site5.com and we'll be more than happy to provide you with whatever assistance you require. Thank you.
