Advantage.com What do you think? Anyone had experiences with them or their VPS's?

Er...Advanthost is dead and buried, after only brief life. Advantagecom.net apparently have been doing the business for years.

I also get their names mixed up. Advantahost (aka ispeed) has the $15 VPS, and Advantage.com has the $10 VPS's. Right?

ispeed.com doesnt have VDS plans on their site (at least i didnt find any).

If u wonder if a VDS plan is better than a shared hosting account thats up 2 u 2 decide and depends on your needs, skills and experience. Have in mind that a 10$ VDS plan is a base plan and u wont have much space if u have many domains under ur account. You would also need to set up many things by your self cause a VDS is just like managing your own server. But the benefits are obvious (isolation, guaranteed resources etc.).
On the contrary, if you just need more space and bandwidth and a control panel, then get a shared hosting plan.

ispeed.com sells VPS.

Yes, Advantahost seems dead.

I'd link to point out that we (simplywebhosting) are not affiliated with advantage.com - I'd never even heard of them before. Our corporation's name is Advantagecom Networks. Thanks guys, good luck in your search Chris.
