Yay finally after a couple of years being in the design industry things are finally starting to pick up, ive got 3 sites to do this week + others on the way when these are finished, most of which want hosting to go with the site + i've got people asking me to do their search engine submission for payment of course :)

Anyone else having a good run at present?

taz, hey I also got some jobs this week, just in time for some extra holiday cash!
I have a portal project for someone in Russia, two local business, and one local nonprofit project. Only two of them need hosting though.. Good luck with your projects!

howzit alohahost (karen),
I've done stuff like that, but only for family and friends. Aloha from Las Vegas.

I guess I should be doing some work instead of spending all my time here at WHT.
:D

not really... just got laid off from my job :bawling:

Planning to get my design site up and running now though, as the job market here in San Francisco for java developers is saturated...

when I have a my portfolio up I'll be actively looking for work, so if anyone needs any php/mysql or JSP/servlet work done... stand by :)

Its good to hear your business is going good! I find it unusual that I contacted a web designer to do a job, he quoted me with the price, I wrote him back and said "thats fine, where do we go from here". And he never emailed me back lol... His loss

We've been having a good deal of work put our way too design wise. I don't think it's saturated like people say it is at all.

Things are going at a fast pace as usual... it's a shame having so much work that you actually have to turn down customers :(

If it's pertaining to your site in your "HOME" link, nah you don't suck. :D Cool! I found it amusing, but you might be scaring away a whole bunch of people.

I'm doing pretty well too...ive stopped doing freelance work, as I am devoting all of my freetime to my new site - Forum-Forum.com

I just released it to the public about a week ago, and already it has 69 members and 1300 posts...I thought it was a good idea, guess I was right...now I just need to keep things rolling.

Taz- gratz on the design work, I'm a designer myself, good to know theres still work out there for us :) heheh.

also, ive actually had 2 offers to do forum skinning since I opened my site, had to turn them down because of the reasons stated above :( (although im not sure how serious these offers were) :)
