I see the reseller acount listing X storage, and in the past when I have used hosting for my own sites I have noticed that X storage is slightly smaller then the said amount, possibly due to the features that come with the plan but my question is as follows.

When you say for example "100 MB storage" do we actually get the 100 MB or is there a little taken out for the features?

I think it depends on the account.

If the account comes pre-loaded with scripts, control panels etc, then the actual space amount might be a little less than an account without these features.

As well, if the account is created with an index page provided by the host, if the page is intensive then that will take space as well.

well we give 100mb if we say thats what the account has, but obviously scripts etc will take up that space if they are installed.

But for the most part probably no more than 10 MB is taken up for the standard features that normally come with the package(PHP, mysql and such)
