this will bring it to http://www.blah.com/ all other derivatives will go to this address.

You just have to give the same IP
to blah.com and www.blah.com in
your DNS record.

no. i want to make sure the person enters www.blah.com. this is for ssl reasons. for example, i register a certificate that is for www.blah.com, if they enter https://blah.com/ it will come up with a warning.

or if i only want www.blah.com to be shown in the url header and not blah.com ever.

please help.

If it's apache you'er using, you can configure mod_rewrite to do the redirection.
