Subject says it all...

There are too many weird things about the layout of phpmanager that I don't like that you can't seem to edit

Does anyone know of something better than phpmanager which is very customizable?

See, all of those are good, but not exactly what I'm looking for.

I want to be able to customize more.... anyone else know of something?

a custom package. :)

if you have the money to buy something like modernbill, then I'm sure you can get a (freelance) developer to build something similar, but to your own specifications and with a nice templating system...

Not true!!!

MB has good doc's in the members area and are fast and friendly to help w all types of issues.

And yes the developers edition is expensive!!
However they have several tiers available for all different types of users/budgets!

PPL here need to get the F off the 1 price they have listed and get a grip! If they used the software they would say it is more then worth the pricing!

You can tell the dedication in thier programming, and if you want quality you have to pay for it!!

Unless you are just in hosting to make a quick extra buck, I personally think Modern Bill is a fairly priced product and worth the money. If you are serious about hosting, in it for the long haul and need the kind of features MB has, I don't see it as being a 'rip-off'. I think the GUI is worth every penny on it's own :stickout:

Right... very helpful. And this for their website:

"If you are unsure if ModernBill will work on your system, please download the Free Demo and give it a test run. "

They sell their product 300$, all refund request subject to approval, they give no docs *at all* (Well, almost none... see below) and no support with the demo version. WTG modernbill.

Here's the INSTALL file in the demo I downloaded yesterday...

And that last area is protected.

$300 is very affordable. I just noticed they updated to version 4 and made their site look nicer. In the past it came with hardly any documentation. I talked with one of the developers who agreed, but he said version 4 had custom written html step-by-step documentation now.

Does v4 work properly with cpanel/whm now?
