Anyone knows what this means?

--------
can't read sid from /proc/7796/stat
--------

On a regular basis at 10 PM my smtp server shuts down, and i find this line in my logcheck.
at the same time this is being send by Cron to Root

-------
Subject: Cron <root@admin2> /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg

warning, got bogus unix line.
--------

Any information is welcome.

Thanks

did you recently install mrtg (or linux) or did this just start?

This person may have received an answer to the same problem, you might try emailing him if you don't find an answer here:

the warning error is one that comes if netstat finds (or doesn't find) something and throws a fit about it...

Well if he keeps doing that i will uninstall mrtg. The link you provided was no help i'm afraid.
