HELLO ALL. This is a GREAT forum, I just wanted to say that, I have been reading all I can from here and taking everything into consideration as I begin to start my own reseller hosting site. Reading the advice you give each other has really help me.

but I do have a 2 questions.....
1.Im doing this basicly, to feed money into my other sites, and more sites I plan on buying. Is there money to be made here for that???
I also would evetually like some "pocket change" but Ill worry about that after I have my "internet empire" up ;)

2. What is the BEST site you guys would recommend for signup for a reseller account? I dont have much money right now to start off with, so please keep price inline, but I dont want a site that only gives like 5gigs of bandwidth for a starting off account.

hi pileofcrap,
this really is a great forum, indeed.
i have already picked my reseller to be http://manlius.com however these are the ones itook in concideration:

http://turbodnshosting.com
http://freestylehosting.com
http://onefusion.com
http://lypha.com

they all offer a good, cheap startup plan.

If you read well then you will know that going with the cheapest wont do you any favours. You say you want to start cheap, how cheap?

Think of a budget and the features you want.. then post a request. Once you have a list of responses do your research :)

1. Certainly.

2. There is no BEST. You really need to find what is best for you.

Cheap? But what about realibility?

I won't want to lose my x customers (which u worked hard to get) after 6 months just because my host dies or something...

hmm, While I was building my layout for my soon-to-be company, I started calculating numbers and things in my head. and to purchase extra space or bandwidth from http://lypha.com
would make me lose MUCH MUCH money.

so I guess ill be searching for a new reseller program. Lol,

http://www.e-starr.net/ is a little more expensive than I have the money for, but that is kind of the best one I have seen yet.

and http://www.kualo.com/ .... well thats just expensive AS HELL. lol

I don't see how you could consider E-starr to be expensive. Kualo has reasonable fees as well.

Don't just go for the cheapest reseller host you can find. The end result may disappoint you. Consider more than just the pricing factor and don't be asking too much and be willing to give too little.

well, if you kind of read "in between the lines" you could kind of figure out I am on a limited budget. I was, however made a very very good offer by another company, and I think it is what im going to go with.

Get a job and spend more money on a good reliable reselling account. In this industry, about 95% of the time it's foolish to go with the cheapest option.

:)

Why don't you do some searches and eliminate your possibilities? After that we can help you better. :)
