Hello everyone,

I'm tired with my current reseller host, every 2-3 months they moved my account from one server to another server, they said there was a problem in server so they move it. And i'm getting complaint from my customer :(

Right now i'm looking small reseller plan with unlimited account creation, most reliable reseller limit it :( so i need some suggestion :) i would pay yearly and may be i get some discount.

Thank you in advance.

Maybe they are moving it to save money?

There are plenty of hosts to choose from but make sure to always buy in monthly instead of yearly.

What's your monthly budget? What needs do you have regarding disk space and bandwidth?

I agree with the monthly payment over yearly because it could end up costing you more.
If you somehow choosed a bad webhost that shuts down after a couple of months, you just lost the rest of your money.

It's just me but I will stay away from a yearly subscription.

they move you or the server every 2-3 months? If it's the server, it's really frequent unless they are a master reseller or something and transfers just take a few hours to move a few accounts.

And although yearly would get you a discount, as others have said, you're better off on a monthly plan because you'd have the sense of security that you won't lose a ton of of money if your host disappears overnight. Grow the trust and move onto a yearly plan later ,it's easier to move from monthly to yearly than the other way around.

my current reseller account is on solidrockservers server (i don't know about it) and every 2-3 months my account moved from server02 to server04 and vice versa they said there is a problem with server.

my budget is around $200 a year, bandwith and space is not my concern but i'm looking for unlimited domain for my reseller account so i can arrange for my hosting package and of course stable server. I'm prefered with cpanel and other standard facility for hosting

thank you for all advice :)

Most resellers would give you unlimited account hosting since they limit you with space and bandwidth - I still find it weird to why they keep moving you. "Problem with server" isn't really an excuse imo. Everyone has server problems from time to time.

Your budget and requirements are reasonable for a quality reseller account.
You can try this link (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/hostquote.php) to request quote from hosting providers.
Most providers offer free websites transfer so all you need to do would be sign up a new account, request transfer, and update dns.

still can't find a good one :)
innohosting seem solid but they don't offer unlimited cpanel account; hostgator is great but i prefer whcms as my billing application instead whmautopilot. Any other suggestion ? great reputation host; unlimited account and packed with whcms billing, any suggestion ?

Maybe you should be less concerned with looking for a hosting company who will offer unlimited users accounts - but one that will be reliable. As a reseller you will be on a shared hosting server - and with that in mind your not going to get a hosting company in the world who can really support unlimited accounts (Which is probably why your old host moved you around so much!).

Why don't you look for a host who's more realistic? Once you move past a certain number of accounts you should be able to easily afford to run a VPS or dedicated server if you are running a sustainable business platform.

You could also get whmcs license yourself, plenty of other resellers that can sell you external licenses or you can get one directly from WHMCS.com.

Many reseller providers aren't going to include billing software standard - only the bigger ones typically do this. If you really want WHMCS, you can rent (very nice price!) or purchase a license from LicensePal for it as a separate add-on. This would allow you to look at a greater number of hosts, which gives you more flexibility. (LicensePal even offers installation services, if you are uncomfortable installing WHMCS yourself.)

I think that it really depends on how much disk space + bandwidth you actually use. There are quite a few hosting companies providing cpanel reseller who do not specify an account creation limit. Generally not on the smallest plan available.

A WHMCS license is from about $14 per month - which is almost your entire budget? Making that difficult to get.I would agree with webfloat here and make a different priority list. Do you want a host which will fail or disappear within a few months of you doing business with them? Or do you want a reliable platform to resell on? I understand that you are concentrating on profits by just trying to oversell many accounts? Well... Thats nice. Making money is the goal after all - but is it better to have a little less profit and a hosting company which will last longer or is it better to make a quick amount of profit and let all your customers down??

I would recommend a careful consideration when you move though..

I personally would never compromise my clients' reliability versus personal profits? It depends how you look at it / what kind of service you want to offer and most importantly to whom!

Hope This Helps!

As a note, Host Gator will give a WHMCS license to you if you request it specifically.

Small reseller account usually does not come with WHMCS.

I would get WHMCS even if you have a small reseller account becase WHMCS is worth every penny

You can usually get WHMCS for around $20.00 - $25.00. Allreseller offers it for $16.95 I believe.

WHMCS - is $15.95 per month from WHMCS itself.
You can get is for $12.95 per month from licensepal.com -->
Or if you are lucky, you may be able to get a reseller account with a company selling it as a package with your hosting - for about $25+

Hope This Helps!

To clarify I was referring to reseller accounts that come with WHMCS, not the license alone. :stickout:

Ah Sorry! I thought you meant just the license itself - hence my surprise?!

Best.
