Hello everybody,
I am planning to make my server as FTP backup server.
I need
To setup users account with username, password, selection of directory, disk quota for him.
User/client, must have an access via web (website) so that he can change his password at any time.
From Web, client should have access to download/edit/creation or deletion of directory/upload files, something like www.net2ftp.com (http://www.net2ftp.com)
Admin access for administrators, so that admins can handle and edit details of user
No e-mail accounts are needed , all I need is just file hosting, with IP address and not domain name
Like, client will enter IP as host.
Is there any open source / commercial control panel for this purpose ?
First, I thought of DirectAdmin, but in that case, it requires a domain name and when there is a domain name, other people can see files where I would like to provide private file hosting.
Edited:- I think changing permission of domain or subdomain directory to 600 may work
