I am looking to gain clients for my site http://www.yourhostdirect.com I am sure that there is something that I am doing wrong here . I get alot of unique visitors but I have yet to gain one client from the website alone. Is it that my website just plain sucks am I missing something. Any advice on how one would promote/gain some customers would be very helpful.

Well, no offense, but I wouldn't sign up for hosting with those kind of prices.
My current host charges 19.99/year for 40 megs.. your 10.95/mo for 50 megs.... thats 131.40/year for 10 more megs.........

PS - He also charges 2.95/mo for 200 megs - you're 29.95/mo for 50 more megs... thats a lot..

Where are your visitors coming from?
What are they expecting to find?

If your visitors are not targeted then their number doesn't matter at all.

Your site is really professional but the pricing is on the high end. Most customers expect under $10 plan nowadays and it's hard to compete at prices above that. I recommend you create a $9.95 or $7.95 monthly plan with free setup.
Say 200 MB diskspace, 10 GB bandwidth, mySQL, PHP, FP Exts., CGI, ... ;)

I agree with the above. Your site actually looks great - although it does focus on businesses which might exclude some visitors, then it doesn't follow through on why a business should choose you.
I think the main problem is the prices - they are just simply way too high and not at all competitive.
Also as mentioned above - be sure you are getting visitors to your site that are actually looking for a web host
