I was looking to buy a .cc domain and I happend to receive an advertisement from easyspace. I acted too quick and bought the domain. It seemed cheap compared to others I checked. They charged $35/year and others were $45/year. Maybe I'm just not looking the the right places.

Anyways, I read some reviews on WHT after I bought the domain and became horrified. I E-mailed them because I wanted to change nameservers and they said $15... I wonder what else they gonna charge for.

So, I'm asking what should I do. I don't want them to take any more of my money but I don't want my domain down or anything. Do you suggest transferring my domain (and places as to where I would transfer) or paying the $15 and transferring next year.

Transfer it! Get it out of there if they are going to charge for for a NS change. Although, you can't transfer it if you registered it in the past 60 days. And in terms of the price you paid... Well, you should have searched Google, and you would have easily stumbled upon eNom or GoDaddy all of whom charge less than 10/year for domain registrations.

Oh my, is that one of those "over priced" domain registars that come with free hosting?
If so I'd transfer it outa there, BUT you usually can't transfer it until 60 days has passed. First make sure you are the listed admin or registrant of the domain and that the contact email addy is correct. Then you could use GoDaddy.com or 000domains.com. Each of them very good in their own way.

Well, could you tell me a good host to where I could transfer my domain? godaddy.com and 000domains.com don't support .cc domains.

Also, how can I check if I'm the admin of my .cc domain?

As for a good cc registrar, I don't know.
If it has been three days, do a "whois" and see.
