I think its time that Cloud Hosting/Computing be given its own main forum instead of being a sub-topic under "speciality". Cloud is no longer a speciality and is a platform being adopted by tens of thousands and seeing huge market growth not only in the SMB segment but largely the enterprise as well.

I would also like to point out that many cloud related discussions are being posted to other forums because users cannot even find this area to post. Please move Cloud to a primary forum where it belongs. Thank you!

I strongly feel there would be significantly more discussion topics around Cloud if it weren't so hard for people to find under "emerging technology" which is certainly isn't at this point. It is a legitimate product offering my several serious players in the market and becoming widely adopted by SMBs and the enterprise.

I dont think that it should be moved to a main forum because at the moment it has minimal acticity (when compared to the other forums). I understand what you are saying about the threads being posted elsewhere and that might be a reason for this low activity but most are in the correct forum.
I also believe that cloud hosting is a speciality form of hosting so, in my opinion, its current location is best. I do not think that it is in the speciality hosting forum because its an emerging technology, I think that it is in there because it is a speciality.

Yea it would be a nice move. The topic is getting hotter these days and many people are having a watch over this. It would be not so difficult to move a sub forum to main one... if WHT needs help my service are always available for $100000000 ... lolz;)

How about we move it out there for a couple weeks. And if it doesn't get a substantial increase of use, we move it back. :think:

I see where you are comming from but then the same could be said about the other forums there in the subforums i.e. Game Server.
