Hello,

because of problem with recurring sales with 2checkout (and it seems that they do not want to solve it), I must change 3rd billing processor.
I saw a few posts about Revecom (thanks Aussie Bob :), and I want to ask for a few things I need for my biz and I can't find them on their page. Thank you very much!

1) paysystems.com really call to my every customer or after each transaction??
2) is the recurring thing OK already and all automated? (i know there was some problem a few days ago)
3) in initial order/signup, is possible to combine recurring payments with one-time (startup) fees?
4) is each initial/single and also recurring transaction emailed?
5) can I make a payment screen online? I mean I need build it into my control panel - my client fill in that he want buy e.g. 10gb of bandwidth. Then I need to build online the one-time transaction - without making it manually in the control panel. in other words, possibility to use parameters in the link. is that possible?
6) what difference is between revecom.com and paysystems.com? It looks same.. :-?

Hope that's all and it will be useful also for another people. Thanks a lot for your time...

1) No.
2) Yes.
3) Yes.
4) Yes.
5) Pass.
6) Nothing.

With 5) there are some more elaborate ways to use Revecom than we do, so possibly yes.

Cheers

5. No - at least nothing I'm aware of in two years of using them.

Only for large transactions. When we were doing yearly payments, they called all such accounts. They were around $350 to the $400.00 mark.

It's automated and hopefuly the problems of a few weeks ago are fixed. I have my doubts. :eek3:
3) in initial order/signup, is possible to combine recurring payments with one-time (startup) fees?
Yep. If your setup is $10.00 and the plan recurring value is $25.00, then the first billing will be $35.00 and the subsequent recurring billings will be $25.00.
4) is each initial/single and also recurring transaction emailed?
You can setup a transaction so it's a one off fee and it doesn't recurr. This is good for possible bandwidth overages etc.
5) can I make a payment screen online? I mean I need build it into my control panel - my client fill in that he want buy e.g. 10gb of bandwidth. Not following exactly what you mean here.

I'm not sure. I used to think that Revecom was a separate company and a reseller for Paysystems. Now I'm not so sure.

Always glad to help out. :D:agree:

I'd love to use this system - but one more question if I may.

Will they / are they following the same regulations as 2checkout?

Is there a revolving "hold" on monies - if so, how much?

I can see some decent benefits to using their services - provided they aren't going to go "downhill" as fast as 2checkout.

Thanks for your input.

Great,

thanks a lot...

I created test account so I have access to their control panel, but I'am really not sure how the product management works. I have only possibility to make a product, put price/description there and that's it.
No selection of one-time/recurring payment, recurring period, etc... At 2checkout there was just possiblity to make one-time payment and/or recurring and then payment options, that's all. At revecom I believe there is something similar, but I can't find it

Paysystems already use a system that 2CO are putting into place. Technically, you sell your product to Paysystems and then they sell it onto your client.

Yep. 5% for 6mths.

You cannot set up recurring products when you are in test mode. You have to be in 'live' mode to set up the recurring products :bawling:
