Who bought the @home network when they went out of business? I tried to do a search for it on Google but came up empty.

Wasn't it split up between like ATTBI, Comcast and other companies like that?

i think this is close to correct

I think what essentially happened is the major corps bought the hardware/network infrastructure. AT&T just layered the @home customers over their existing network so they had the least amount of downtime.

Any comcast or other customers remember their experience?

Most excite@home networks were bought by thier partners for the networks location. For example I know in Maryland(where I live) that Comcast bought up the network and switch it from the @home.com network to the @home.net network. They also switched to Dynamic IPs which pissed me off since I now have to reset my routers setting everytime they deside to give me a different IP even though I use the "obtain IP automaticlly" function.
